My name is Seth Engelstad and I am on my fourth year as the High School Principal at Milnor Public School.  While here, I have taught two years of Problems of Democracy, been the high school co-student council advisor, and have been the junior high boys’ basketball coach.

I am originally from Moorhead, MN, and a high school graduate from Moorhead Senior High. Prior to Milnor I taught eleven years as a social studies teacher, and was a police officer for two years in North Dakota.  I received my Associate’s Degree in law enforcement from Fond du Lac. I received my Bachelors of Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead; and a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary’s University. In May of 2017, I received my second Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Dakota, to obtain my administrative license.

I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife Devi is the Technology Coordinator at Hankinson Public School. My son Isaac works in Northern Minnesota for J & L construction, and my daughter Abigail is a full time student at MSUM. We all love to be outdoors camping, fishing, or hunting.
